The social media space is not only full of hundreds of networks but also a ton of words that don’t always ring a bell. Lifecasting? Tag cloud? Bliki? At times, it can make your head spin.
I put together my own list of basic Twitter terms, but for definitions beyond that, I either hit Google or go to the Social Media Guide’s Glossary or the A-Z of social media wiki.
I try not to speak in jargon, but I suspect I fall into it from time to time. So feel free to ask for definitions here, or use these resources. It’s one thing to talk the talk, but for me, I simply like to make sure I can understand the talk!
