Another great week full of fascinating reading has passed. Here are three links I think you might enjoy…
Over at Booksquare, there’s a great write-up of thoughts and themes from SXSW (South by Southwest) with a particular eye on the publishing business. It’s really worth a read.
Overlapping a tiny bit with the above is Michiko Kakutani’s New York Times piece Reading and the Web – Texts Without Context – an interesting (though not entirely encouraging) perspective for authors and others.
Finally, I really liked Darcy Pattison’s post on 24 Tips and Settings for Skype Author Visits. Virtual visits and communication will become more common moving forward, I suspect (no… nothing replaces in person contact!). It’s good to be prepared.
As always, if you saw something wonderful this week, I hope you’ll share it with us all….
