This Friday night at 9 PM at the SCBWI Summer Conference here in Los Angeles, I’m co-hosting a Tweetup with Jenn Bailey.
I realize many of you are not going to be at a conference devoted to children’s books, but if you’re there, I do hope you’ll stop by. We’ll be in the lobby bar having a great time… and probably tweeting a bit.
Tweetups and other meetups of online friends are a lot of fun, I find, and they also really help solidify relationships. If you haven’t had the chance to meet your blog/Facebook/Twitter/wherever friends in person, you really should give it a try.
For those interested in following the conference online, the hashtag is #scbwi09 (that’s zero nine). This’ll be the first time that there will be a real effort to tweet from the event, I believe, so it will be interesting to see what happens.
