If you haven’t been following along this week, it’s not to late to check out Darcy Pattison’s Random Acts of Publicity Week.
Besides loving the concept of the week itself, I love how it’s been turned into an event. Yes, these were ideas that could have just been explored in random blog posts, but by turning it into a Week, it was a great way to build support and gain attention (both for the concept and for the host blog, too). It’s also a fun community event by itself.
The ideas are all strong, too, and even if you didn’t get around to doing any of them during the scheduled time, they are just as good to do at ANY time. In other words, it’s a series of posts that keep on giving.
So, a big hat tip… and I hope you practice some random acts of publicity today or sooooon.
