I’m heading off to Washington D.C. to attend CFP, and I must say I’m quite looking forward to it. At last year’s conference, I led a breakout session on book promotion online, but this year I’ve got no responsibilities… and I’m ready to try to suck in a huge amount of information in a very short time. I’ll be spending all day Monday in workshops about social networks, looking at issues of technology, privacy, and activism and a lot more. It should be fascinating, indeed.
I love meeting people face-to-face and not just online (and would view it as part of any strategy that has the word “social” in it), but emails and texts and tweets will be flying at CFP, as well, I’m sure.
