Facebook Privacy (Again)

by Greg on December 19, 2009

If you’ve been on Facebook recently, you’ve probably been asked to review your privacy settings. If you haven’t been out recently or weren’t asked, you should review them anyway. As noted last week, in re-doing their privacy policy, Facebook also redid users default settings… even over-riding changes you may have made.

The result of the FB overrides, by the way, is to make more of your information and actions public.

Currently, if you follow the Facebook prompts, you can revert to your old settings. However, it’s probably a good idea to review those settings to make sure they match up to what you want, just in case. Here’s a link to my Facebook Privacy Settings Tutorial in case you need further assistance!
