A Little Weekend Reading

by Greg on October 9, 2010

Though I spent a lot of my week either at or thinking about the #140Conf (and I recommend checking out Amber Avines take on the Conference), I did run across quite a bit beyond that I thought you might be interested in this week (okay, fine… one is older, but I was behind in my reading!)….

Via Copyblogger came Carol Tice’s post – 50 Can’t-Fail Techniques for Finding Great Blog Topics. When you’re wondering what to post about or even wondering if you should bother blogging at all, this is a great place to check.

I thought 10 Things Your Parents Told You That Still Apply to Social Media by Danny Brown was spot on and a great way to frame some “common sense” advice on issues we all deal with online.

Finally, I liked Joshua Noerr’s post about Blog Karma over at Problogger. Good deeds can, indeed, spike your traffic and do much more. Good food for thought.

Did you see something worth passing along this week? Feel free to share it here….

Well, hopefully no one here IS bombing in social media, but the 10 points you make are great regardless. Thanks for sharing that post, too.
