A Few Links

by Greg on November 8, 2009

chainAs the weekend disappears, I thought I’d leave you with a few links to fill the remaining time :-)

Over at Build a Better Blog, Denise Wakeman is taking a poll on how you like to get your content online. Video, audio, text, or something else? I find that I still prefer text, though I listen to some podcasts and watch videos, too. Will this change over time?

At Mashable, Ben Parr has the story about Twitter rolling out their new retweet feature. Like with Twitter’s lists, it will take some time before we all get to play with the new toy, in this case, retweeting built right into Twitter itself. RTing will look different than we’re used to, so you might want to check the article now to see what you’ll be seeing soon enough.

And finally, over at E-Reads is an article called What Publishing Can Learn from Cory – all about Cory Doctorow’s latest experiment with book marketing/selling online and off. While it’s not a purely social media story, for those interested in platforms, giveaways, and the challenges in traditional publishing, it’s a very good read.

Did any stories or posts stick out to you this week? I’d love to know what I might have missed….
